Judy ValenteJudith Valente was a correspondent for The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, People Magazine, Chicago Public Radio, and, currently, PBS-TV. She is the author of three books of poetry and essays. Tonight she reads excerpts from two new books inspired by the monastic life.

Larry Janowski

Larry Janowski is the author of three poetry collections including his book, Brotherkeeper. His work is often anthologized and has won prizes from the Illinois Arts Council and the Catholic Press Association. A Franciscan Friar, Larry will be reading new work on faith and family. 

PuccianiDonna Pucciani is Vice President of Poets’ Club of Chicago and the author of four books of poetry. Her poems have been published on four continents and translated into Italian, Japanese and Chinese. Tonight, in the spirit of the season, she reads poems focusing on “Life, Death and Resurrection.”
