North Suburban Genealogical Society

Public Meeting Saturday, Sept 7

Guests are welcome and are invited to bring a friend and enjoy refreshments.

Aug 14, 2013 (Northbrook, Ill.) – The North Suburban Genealogical Society invites the public to attend its Saturday, September 7th meeting at the Northbrook History Museum (1776 Walters Avenue, Northbrook, IL).

The meeting will feature John Stryker on the topic “What’s New in Technology”.

As a teacher at Oakton Community College Mr. Stryker is versed in current technological changes and advancements.  Join us to hear answers to questions submitted by our members and other useful tips for genealogists.  His third great grandfather was one of the first settlers of North Northfield (now part of Northbrook), so there will be some local history as well.

The meeting begins at 1:00 PM and is handicap accessible.  The meeting is free and open to the public.  Refreshments are served.
