This post was originally published by Julie Goucher on her blog, Anglers Rest. She has given permission to re-post here with information on “The Book of Me, Written by You.”  I’m a little late in posting the information, but you can catch up on the prompts on the FaceBook group she formed.

It occurred to me that the Book of Me, Written by You, that I wrote and presented to a recent group in workshop style would be a great weekly Geneabloggers prompt.  You can read about the background and further information with a genealogical slant.

This is not just about genealogy or family history. It is about a personal journey; a journey of rediscovery of yourself and perhaps your loved ones through your eyes.

The prompts are to be delivered weekly and in a random fashion. Therefore I would advise that you keep your Book of Me in a free format file so that you can flexible on what you include and your book structure.

The launch day is 31st August 2013. There is a Face Book page to accompany the prompt series and clicking the icon below you can visit the group. You can start creating your Book of Me at anytime.

Please share the The Book of Me, Written by You with the wider community. You can download a Flyer HERE
